Hannon's "Stir Crazy"
Chocolate Cake
- 2 1/2 cup ChuckWagon's Best Self Rising flour
- 1½ cups Sugar
- ½ cup Cocoa
- 2 tsp. Soda
- ½ tsp. Salt
- 2/3 cup Cooking Oil
- 2 Tbs. Vinegar
- 1 Tbs. Vanilla
- 2 cups COLD Chuckwagon's
Best Cowboy Coffee
- ¼ cup Sugar
- ½ tsp. Cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°. Put flour, 1 ½ cups sugar,
soda and salt into a 12 in. Dutch Oven or use a 13" x
9" x 2" ungreased metal baking pan) Add oil, vinegar,
vanilla and coffee.
Stir with fork until mixed. DO NOT BEAT! Pour into Dutch
Oven or into baking pan. Combine remaining sugar and cinnamon
and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes.
Do not put lid on Dutch Oven unless cooking with coals.
